Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr ‘Abdullah (Radiyallahu `anhu), a person asked Allah’s Apostle (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam),
“What (sort of) deeds in or (what qualities of) Islam are good?”
He replied,
“To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you don’t know.”

The sayings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam),
“Among the best deeds are to feed the poor and the deserving and to greet those whom you know and those whom you do now know”
