Abu Hurairah (Radiyallaahu `anhu) narrated that the Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
”A Muslim male or female, remains subject to trials (in this world); in respect of self, children and property till he or she faces Allah the Exalted (on the Day of Judgment) in a state in which all his or her sins have been remitted.”

The Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
”Richness does not lie in the abundance of (worldly) goods, but richness is the richness of the soul (heart, self).”

The Messenger of God (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
”He is successful who has accepted Islam, who has been provided with sufficient for his wants and been made contented by Allah with what He has given him.”

Narrated Abu Hurairah (Radiyallaahu `anhu) Allah’s Messenger (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“The strong man is not one who is good at wrestling, but the strong man is one who controls himself in a fit of rage.”

Narrated by ‘Aisha (the wife of the Prophet) (Radiyallaahu `anha), The Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even though it were the prick he receives from a thorn.”

Ibn ‘Abbas (Radiyallahu `anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Teach and make things easy and not difficult. When one of you is angry, he should be silent.”

Shaddad and as-Sunabihi (Radiyallahu `anhuma) narrated that, Allah’s Messenger (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Allah who is Great and Glorious says, ‘When I afflict a servant of Mine who is a believer and he praises Me, for the affliction I have brought upon him; he will rise from that couch of his as sinless as he was the day his mother gave birth to him.’
The Rabb, Who is Blessed and Exalted, will say, ‘I fettered and afflicted My servant, so record for him what you were recording for him …

Abu Hurairah (Radiyallahu `anhu) narrated that Allah’s Messenger (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Allah says, ‘I have nothing to give but Paradise as a reward to my believer slave, who, if I cause his dear friend (or relative) to die, remains patient (and hopes for Allah’s Reward).”

Narrated by Abu Huraira (Radiyallahu `anhu) that the Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“The example of a believer is that of a fresh tender plant; from whatever direction the wind comes, it bends it, but when the wind becomes quiet, it becomes straight again.

The Prophet of God (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Iman is patience and forgiveness.”
