The Messenger of God (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Keep God in mind wherever you are; follow a wrong with a right that offsets it; and treat people courteously”

Narrated by ‘Aisha (the wife of the Prophet) (Radiyallaahu `anha), The Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Allah is Kind and likes kindness in all things.”

Abu Mas’ud al-Ansari (Radiyallahu `anhu) said, a man came to the Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) and said,
“My camel has become exhausted, so give me a mount.”
He replied,
“I do not have any. But go to so-and-so and perhaps he will give you one.”
He went to that man and he gave him a mount. Then he went back to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and told him. He said,
“Whoever guides to good has the like of the reward of the person who actually does it.”

The Prophet of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Whoever is kind, Allah will be kind to him; therefore be kind to man on the earth. He Who is in heaven will show mercy on you.”

Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) giving instructions to Muadh bin Jabal (Radiyallaahu `anhu) while sending him as ambassador to Yemen,
“Show leniency (to the people), don’t be hard upon them, give them glad tidings (of Divine favors in this world and the Hereafter), and do not create aversion. Work in collaboration and don’t be divided.”

A man walking along a path felt very thirsty. Reaching a well, he descended into it, drank his fill, and came up. Then he saw a dog with its tongue hanging out, trying to lick up mud to quench its thirst.
