“There is no time on Friday at which no Muslim would stand, pray and beg Allah for what is good but He would give it to him”

“A Muslim is the brother of a fellow-Muslim. He should neither commit oppression upon him nor ruin him, and he who meets the need of a brother, Allah would meet big needs, and he who relieved a Muslim from hardship Allah would relieve him from the hardships to which he would be put on the Day of Resurrection, and he who did not expose (the follies of a Muslim) Allah would conceal his follies on the Day of Resurrection.”

Sahih Muslim (Book 032, Number 6250)

“Teach me a word that i can say.”

The Messenger (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) told him to say:

‘There is none worthy of worship but Allah, Who has no partner, Allah is the Great, the Most Great, and praise is to Allah in abundance, glory is to Allah, Lord of the worlds. There is no power and no might but by Allah the Mighty, the Wise.’

The desert Arab said,

“That is for my Lord, but what about me?”

The Prophet told him to say:

‘O Allah forgive me, and have mercy on me, and guide me, and provide for me.’

(Sahih Muslim 4/2072, Abu Dawud reports the same Hadith with the addition: and when the Arab left, The Prophet of Islam said: “He has filled his hands with goodness.” 1/220)

“Whoever treads on a path in search of Islamic knowledge, Allah will ease the way to Paradise for him. The angels will lower their wings, pleased with this seeker of knowledge, and everyone in the heavens and on earth will ask forgiveness for the knowledgeable person, even the fish in the deepest of waters will ask for his forgiveness.”

Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, Tirmidhi # 2835-sahih hadith

“Allah who is Great and Glorious says, ‘When I afflict a servant of Mine who is a believer and he praises Me, for the affliction I have brought upon him; he will rise from that couch of his as sinless as he was the day his mother gave birth to him.’

The Rabb, Who is Blessed and Exalted, will say, ‘I fettered and afflicted My servant, so record for him what you were recording for him when he was well.“

“The best of fasts besides the month of Ramadhan is the fasting of Allah’s month of Muharram.”

“By Allah, I seek Allah’s forgiveness and repent to Him more than seventy times a day.”
