Aisha (Radhiallaahu Anha) reported that the Apostle of Allah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said,
“Search for the Blessed Night in the odd (nights) from the last ten (nights) of Ramadan”

Allah’s Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Seek it in Ramadan in the last ten nights. For verily, it is during the odd nights, the twenty-first, or the twenty-third, or the twenty-fifth, or the twenty-seventh, or the twenty-ninth, or during the last night”

Narrated Ibn ‘Umar (radiallaahu anhu):
Some men amongst the companions of the Prophet were shown in their dreams that the night of Qadr was in the last seven nights of Ramadan. Allah’s Apostle (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“It seems that all your dreams agree that (the Night of Qadr) is in the last seven nights, and whoever wants to search for it (i.e. the Night of Qadr) should search in the last seven (nights of Ramadan).”

Narrated by Jabir (radiallaahu anhu), Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“In every day and every night, during the month of Ramadan, there are people to whom Allah grants freedom from the Fire, and there is for every Muslim a supplication which he can make and will be granted.”

Narrated Abu Huraira (radiallaahu anhu), Allah’s Apostle (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“fasting is a shield (or a screen or a shelter). So, the person observing fasting should avoid sexual relation with his wife and should not behave foolishly and impudently, and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he should tell him twice, ‘I am fasting.”

The Prophet of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“When it is the first night of Ramadan the evil devils are chained. The gates of Fire are locked- not a single gate is opnened, and the gates of Paradise are opened- not a single gate is locked, and a caller calls out:
‘O seeker of good come forward, and O seeker of evil withhold, and there are many whom Allah frees from the Fire – and that is every night.’”

Abu Said al-Khudri (radiallaahu anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Fasting is a shield with which a servant protects himself from the Fire”.

Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Whosoever does not leave bad words and bad actions, Allah does not care if he leaves his food and drink.”

Abu Said al-Khudri (radiallaahu anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“No servant fasts on a day in the path of Allah except that Allah removes the Hell Fire seventy years further away from his face.”

The Prophet of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“The best of fasts besides the month of Ramadhan is the fasting of Allah’s month of Muharram.”
