Anas ibn Malik (Radiyallaahu `anhu) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“The Paradise is surrounded by hardships and the Hell-Fire is surrounded by temptations.’”

Narrated by ‘Aisha (the wife of the Prophet) (Radiyallaahu `anha), The Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“The people will be resurrected (and judged) according to their intentions.”

“Whoever treads on a path in search of Islamic knowledge, Allah will ease the way to Paradise for him. The angels will lower their wings, pleased with this seeker of knowledge, and everyone in the heavens and on earth will ask forgiveness for the knowledgeable person, even the fish in the deepest of waters will ask for his forgiveness.”

The Messenger of Allaah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Whoever gives up wearing elegant and expensive garments out of humbleness, when he can do so, Allah will call him on the Day of Resurrection and before all the creations, He will give him the choice to wear whichever garment of ‘Iman’ he would like to wear.”

It is narrated on the authority of Jabir b. Abdullah: I heard the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) saying,
“He who met Allah without associating anything with Allah entered Paradise and he who met Him associating (anything) with Him entered Fire.”

“He who died knowing (fully well) that there is no God but Allah entered Paradise.”

Abdullah bin Masud (Radiyallaahu `anhu) reported the Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“”Truth leads to piety and piety leads to Heaven. A man persists in speaking the truth till he is enrolled with God as a truthful. Falsehood leads to vice andvice leads to the Fire (Hell), and a person persistson telling lies until he is enrolled as a liar”

The Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Paradise and Hell-fire disputed together, and Hell-fire said: ‘In me are the mighty and the haughty.’ Paradise said: ‘In me are the weak and the poor.’ So Allah judged between them, [saying]: ‘You are Paradise, My mercy; through you I show mercy to those I wish. And you are Hell-fire, My punishment; through you I punish those I wish, and it is incumbent upon Me that each of you shall have its fill.’”
