Who was the last Prophet of God?

Walykumasalam Amatulla,
Thank you for your comment, very good point and Alhamdulilah, all our hadiths are referenced with minimum of Book name (e.g. Muslim, Bukhari, etc..), and sometimes with extended reference, such as: Sahih Al-Bukhari Volume 003 Book 043 Hadith number 637
Assalamuallikum,
I am receiving your Hadith mail. After collecting some mails in one subject I am posting in the site as an article. If you give as an article in subject (Knowledge) that would be more useful to convey to the people. We are doing as a service to get reward from Allah (Insaallah) Allah would accept our prayers and service.
Wassalam

“Acquire knowledge, it enables its professor to distinguish right from wrong…” After you emailed that, you wrote: This quote is widely attributed to the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh), however I was unable to find the exact reference, please contact me if you know it. Thanks.
I emailed you back, but it would never go through. This is what I wrote:
Salaams,
The wording of this hadith is incorrect: rather than ‘professor’, the word should be ‘possessor’.
I searched many sites and could not find the source of this hadith.
The best searchable hadith database is: http://ahadith.co.uk/
May Allah reward you.
